My current everyday makeup routine!

For my first beauty blog post I thought I would do something generic. With that being said, I

decided on my current everyday makeup routine. I do tend to change my makeup quite frequently but when I am in a rush or just don't feel like doing something different that day, this is what I like to put on my face.
MOISTURIZE: Once I wake up, I rinse my face off with water and moisturize with my CeraVe PM facial moisturizing lotion. Yes, I know it is PM but when I bought it at Target I made sure to read the ingredients and the only thing differing was that the AM had a bit of SPF in it. Being that my foundation has SPF, I didn't think it was necessary to get the AM moisturizer. I have dry skin and I've found that because this has no acne fighting ingredients in it, it keeps my skin more moisturized and reduces the dry flakes I usually get on my T-zone.
PRIME: After I let my moisturizer set into my skin for 5-10 minutes I prime. I apply my Benefit Porefessional to the places where my pores are the largest, which is on my nose and around it. Since I have to be careful about my dry skin, this is the only place I apply it. Next I will use my Smashbox Photo finish primer on my forehead and lower cheeks. I find that this primer works really well with my dry skin by not aggravating the flakes and also moisturizing a tad more before I apply my foundation.
FOUNDATION/CONCEALER: Once my primer sets for about a minute I use my L'oriel Magic Lumi highlighter pen for my under eyes and lightly dab with my ring finger to blend it in. Next, I wet my Ulta super blender sponge with cold water which helps me wake up a bit more. Here is a video that helped me and I think will explain better how I apply my foundation with the sponge. The foundation I use and have been using since the beginning of the year is the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 foundation (such a mouthful!) in Ivory 805 which is the lightest shade because I am super pale in the winter. This has been my favorite medium to high coverage foundation for a while because I don't have to use much concealer since its built in! The lasting power is great also, by the end of the school day my foundation isn't caky or broken apart at all. But when I do have a zit thats redness comes through the foundation I will use a tiny bit of my Benefit Boi-ing concealer in the shade 01. If my rosacea is showing through the foundation I will use my Real Techniques expert face brush and a tiny bit of Mary Kay concealer in the shade Ivory 1 to conceal it, not buffing but dabbing it over the area.
BROWS: I will comb through my brows with a generic spoolie wand and fill them in with my Benefit Brow Zings in medium using the brow brush from the Real Techniques starter set. I have a specific way that I fill in my brows and will go into detail about how I do them next week in a post!
EYES: Before I start my eye shadow I will prime my lids with the e.l.f. eye shadow primer in sheer. This primer actually covers up my eyelid veins very well. Next, I will use my ring finger to apply Stila's Kitten on my lids but not into the crease. For my crease I use the fluffy eyeshadow brush from my Real Techniques starter set to put and blend the shade Buck from my Urban Decay Naked palette. For eyeliner I use my Maybelline Line Stiletto liquid eyeliner to create a classic winged liner. I curl my eyelashes with my Tweezerman classic lash curler and apply a few coats of the Rocket mascara to my roots to keep my lashes curled and my bottom lashes. If I feel my top lashes need more length I will go in with a coat or two of Benefits They're Real! mascara on the ends.
(Yes I know, I really need to get my eyebrows done.)

POWDER: Since my foundation has had time to set into my skin I use my e.l.f. flat top powder brush to apply my Rimmel stay matte powder in translucent to my T-zone. I (and Tanya Burr) swear by this powder although they have doubled the price on it at my local Target which really sucks.
CONTOUR/HIGHLIGHT/BLUSH: I will take my huge Real Techniques powder brush with Benefits Hoola matte bronzer to contour. I squeeze the brush into a line and do the 3 rule on face: temples, cheek bones, and jaw and then blend like crazy with the full brush. For blush I use my Mary Kay cheek brush to apply Maybelline fit me blush in the shade Deep rose to my cheeks. To highlight I apply Benefits Watt's up on the top of my cheeks then I will take my finger and apply it under my brows and near the tear duct of my eye.

And that is all for my makeup routine!
