ColourPop Shadows and Lippie Stix Review (An amazing quality, low cost brand!)

Hi, long time no post (if that even makes sense). Today I am going to do a review of a Christmas present I received, obviously its a little late but I wanted to use all the products before I wrote about them! I found out about this makeup brand from the lovely Mirella Bernal (Mirellabellebeauty) on youtube. She raves about this brand and how good of quality it is for the cost ($5 for each! Insane right?!) and I am so glad I took her word.
To begin, I was gifted three ColourPop eyeshadows in So Quiche, Cricket and Lovely along with a Lippie Stix in the shade Lumière (I picked these out online myself!). As you can see in the top photo, the wrapping was adorable. I took out the products from their baggies and bubble wrap to take the photo but since that was present, none of them came damaged! They also hand wrote me a cute little message that made me laugh.

(top to bottom: Cricket, Lovely, So Quiche)

I chose these three shadows because I usually (and by usually I mean all the time) wear nudes and thought each one was very unique. They are a lot larger than I expected and I am not complaining at all because they are beautiful.
I knew I was going to get Lovely as soon as I saw Mirella's video. It is a light gold shade with larger sized sparkles in it that I like to wear in the middle of my lid. You could even use it as a highlight in the inner corner... now that I think about it, you really could do anything with it.
So Quiche was an unsure buy but it might be my favorite because I have never seen anything like it. Just like the website described, it is a 'soft olive with highly reflective gold and pink violet glittery duo chrome metallic finish' and it is as amazing as it sounds. I could stare at this shade forever.
Cricket is also very different from anything I own, it is a smoky plum with glitter that doesn't overpower the deep shade.
Now on to the Lippie Stix. I got the matte shade Lumière which is a mauve pink created by Kathleen Lights. It is advertised to go with any skin tone and I honestly believe thats true because it looks great. Since I don't really wear bold lipsticks much, I found this to be perfect because it is bold but still subtle. It attracts attention but not too much which is exactly what I was looking for to wear in the winter.
Overall, I am SUPER happy with everything! The shadows are gorgeous and pigmented, the lippie is a perfect shade and stays on amazing, not to mention... EACH ONE WAS $5!
I would totally recommend ColourPop to anyone searching for quality makeup that doesn't make you whimper at checkout line.

Thank you for reading!
