Second Year College Haul

This "haul" is somewhat random things, but all of them sort of relate to going back to school! Lets get started...

So when a friend of mine and I backpacked New York City for a weekend I realized how awful my current backpack is. It's just one bought from urban and it's super cute just not very practical for classes, or anything but carrying light things. I decided it was time to invest in a nice backpack and yes the first brand that came to mind was Herschel. Originally I was going to buy an all black retreat backpack but when I saw this one in a store I changed my mind. Its so comfortable to wear and has a laptop sleeve which is great for classes. I could not find the exact one online but I found the same style and base color but with a nude latch (Link!).

Target will be the death of me honestly. Oh, and you too Nate Berkus. I'm going to buy a clear file holder when I move into my apartment to put these in because they are too pretty to be hidden. (Link!)

My birthday was on the 20th of this month and my parents bought me these amazing rings I picked out. They are hand made from an Etsy Shop called Liesel Love (link) which everyone should check out because she is insanely talented and her jewelry is beautiful. Just to be sure (and because I'm paranoid) I wore around a cheaper ring for a year to test out if I could trust myself with wearing a nice one everyday. I never lost it so I'm not too worried about these.

I found these rain boots at Marshalls for only $25. I have regular rain boots that hit below my knee but a girl has to have options, you know? I thought these would be super cute with some patterned thick socks for a day when its not pouring out but still rainy! Unfortunately I could not find them online anywhere but they are the brand Report.

The second I saw these I knew I needed them. They are so detailed and unlike any other dog sock I've seen. They are perfect. (Link!)

Living in the city, or anywhere really you should always have something like pepper spray just incase! You can find these at almost every home improvement store and even some cute boutiques carry them.

I went to Old Navy on a whim and when I walked in I saw that almost the entire store was up to 50% off. These shoes were only $15 in that store and they are absolutely perfect. They look very similar to a pair of Vans I have been wanting but cant bring myself to buy. Thank God I held off because I might like these even more. This exact coloring isn't online for some reason but the style of shoe is. (Link!)

I've been looking for a plain but cute calendar I can hang up in my new room but everything had either been too colorful/patterned or too boring. I found this one at Target of course and its exactly what I have been looking for. It has gold detailing and is not too big but still has room to write on the side. I am going to hang it with a thumb tack on the wall near my desk.

Thank you so much for reading my rambles! x
